With Let’s Grow, you can help boost children’s physical, social, and emotional development by over 20%, while fostering confident, calm, and creative little learners.

This season, we’ve packed the platform with incredible activities for you to use in your setting or at home, all designed to take the stress out of session planning, so you can focus on what matters most: engaging with and supporting your children.

Getting Started: The Introductory Session

Before diving into the Autumn content, don’t forget to deliver our Introductory Session to introduce the children to Let’s Grow and all their new friends! This is the perfect place to begin.

Mr. Bloom, CBeebies best-loved gardener, is the first character your children will meet in Let’s Grow. He encourages a love for nature and the great outdoors, inspiring children to get involved in gardening. He’s also a huge fan of making music and has a collection of fun, motivational songs to accompany everyday tasks and routines.

In our Introductory Session, you can meet our very special Let’s Grow Nannies – Mr. Bloom’s neighbours – sign up to Let’s Grow to access this session, where you’ll also meet the fruit and vegetable babies. The session includes a lesson plan, an introduction to the characters, rules for play, and a checklist for the seven areas of learning and early learning goals, to help you get started.

Autumn Module

A great way to start any season is using Module 4: Seasons. Each session in this module is perfect for learning about the changing weather and seasonal impact on plants and animals.

In Module 4.1: Autumn, Mr. Bloom guides the children through the season of Autumn, helping children explore autumn treasures, seasonal produce, leaves, and seeds.

Celebrations!

Throughout the year, our Celebrations modules take children on an exciting journey, with each session focusing on a different celebration. In each of these sessions, Bob and Flo introduce the children to a new fruit or vegetable baby to take care of.

During Autumn we recommend taking your children on a journey through the following sessions:

👨‍🌾 Harvest with Remmy the baby sweet potato:

In this session, children will learn about Harvest through interactive activities, video calls, and songs. Explore a hands-on lesson in bread-making, instructions for creating corn dollies, and a fun script for performing The Little Red Hen.

🎃 Halloween with Vic the baby orange:

In our Halloween session, children make Halloween decorations, explore spaghetti messy play, role-play as monsters, and enjoy making delicious pumpkin soup!

🪵🔥 Bonfire Night with Sparks the Baby Onion:

Our interactive session on Bonfire night introduces children to Sparks the Onion, and includes activities such as bonfire art, creating fruity fireworks, making bonfire night music, and exploring the excitement of Bonfire Night safely.
