Created by Mimi and Ben Faulks (AKA, CBeebies Mr. Bloom), Let’s Grow offers a dynamic blend of interactive EYFS teaching resources as well as immersive live performances for children and families.

Let’s Grow is the culmination of over 20 years of creative work in theatre, children’s television, publishing, and education. Ben Faulks, known to many as Mr. Bloom from CBeebies, co-founded Let’s Grow with his wife, Mimi Faulks. Together, they brought their shared vision of integrating nature-based learning with creative performance, to life.
The story of Let’s Grow begins with Plunge Bloom, a theatre company founded in 2006 by Ben Faulks. Over the years, Plunge Bloom became a cornerstone of Ben & Mimi’s creative work, constantly touring throughout the UK and internationally. After Ben pitched his flagship show ‘The Vegetable Nannies’ to CBeebies in 2009, Mr. Bloom’s Nursery was created and went on to deliver 100s of episodes that were broadcast and adored the world over, with Ben starring as the beloved gardener, Mr. Bloom!
Since then, horizons have continued to broaden with creative disciplines and endeavours, but the common ground that links it all, is of a show that’s rooted in nature & nurture, where people care for fruit & vegetable babies and… have a tonne of fun doing so! Now the award winning content takes exciting steps into the world of education and places it in the hands of teachers for the next generation to enjoy and learn with.
At Let’s Grow, we believe that education should be fun, inspiring, and inclusive. Whether through our teaching resources or our live performances, we provide opportunities for children to explore, learn, and grow in a way that fosters a love for nature and creativity.
We serve two distinct audiences: early year educators, with our resources designed for classrooms and early years settings; and live event content that’s tailored for communities, public & private gatherings, festival, events and celebrations.
Our teaching resources make it easy to bring play-based learning into the classroom, focusing on social-emotional growth, environmental awareness, and hands-on imaginative play based activities.
Our performances engage people of all ages, creating fun, interactive experiences that unite families and communities around the magic of nature.

Together, Ben and Mimi lead Let’s Grow, blending their skills and experiences to create a platform that inspires, engages, and educates.
Ben’s work as an actor, writer and producer has shaped Let’s Grow into a unique fusion of theatre, television and highly engaging learning experiences. He brings over 25 years of creative expertise in making and performing content that engages young audiences and their adults, fostering curiosity, through creative expression.
Behind the scenes, Mimi is the creative force overseeing the production of both our educational resources and live events. With her background in event production, arts & education and content creation, Mimi ensures that every aspect of Let’s Grow from the planning and execution of our live events, to the development of our curriculum linked EYFS teaching resources – is seamless, user-friendly, fun and impactful.
The below picture depicts Ben Faulks and Margaret the Cabbage in 2008, in his original show, The Vegetable Nannies, as an eccentric gardener, who cares for a family of baby fruits and vegetables, who he takes out in a pram to see the world!
Since its inception, The Vegetable Nannies show has captured the hearts of everyone that has come into contact with it around the world and it wasn’t long before it caught the attention of CBeebies and Mr. Bloom’s Nursery was created, with the content then reaching millions of people world-wide! The rest is history!
The Vegetable Nannies continues to thrive and tour as a live show with Let’s Grow’s wonderful troupe of Nannies! The Nannies can be found taking care of their adorable fruit & vegetable babies, hosting installations, workshops and walkabouts with prams, allotments, magic garden sheds, workshops and more, at events around the globe, with Let’s Grow.
